What the Deal Room Is
The MAREI Member Deal Room is a new part of our monthly meetings designed to help investors work through real deals in real time.
It’s not a presentation.
It’s not a deep-dive workshop.
It’s a fast-paced, focused opportunity to:
- share a deal
- ask a question
- get input from other investors in the room
When It Happens
The Deal Room takes place during our monthly meetings:
📅 Second Tuesday of each month
🕠 Networking & Trade Show starts at 5:30 PM
🕡 Deal Room begins at 6:30 PM
📍 DoubleTree – Overland Park
👉 If you want to participate, plan to be in the room by 6:30.
What You Can Pitch - Share - Ask
You don’t need a perfect deal.
You just need something you’re working on.
Members can bring:
✔ wholesale deals (or any deal another investor might want)
✔ deals where you need a partner (funding, rehab, or structure)
✔ situations where you’re stuck or need direction
✔ questions about a specific property or opportunity
Each share is short (about 60 seconds), focused, and designed to get input—not presentations.
What Actually Happens (Real Example)
We’ve seen this type of format work before.
At a past session, a member had a package of properties they were trying to sell but didn’t know how to structure the offering.
Within minutes:
- other investors suggested creative deal structures
- multiple people expressed interest as potential buyers
Or at another event a newbie investor with technology and marketing skills was looking to trade said skill for knowledge and ride alongs with a more experienced investor.
Or another a contractor wanted to bring his rehab skills to parnter with an investor with money to buy, rehab and flip a house.
That’s the kind of interaction that can change a deal.
