DSTs & 1031 Exchanges for Real Estate Investors

You are ready for some hands off real estate investing.  You want returns that maximize your money and taxes so you can retire, or perhaps just do other things.  This class can point you in the right direction.

We heard from Eric Granneman a few months ago about how he uses 1031 exchanges to sell property without paying taxes on the gain.  And he mentioned something about boot and hamburger helper.  If that confused you, this lunch and learn will help you sort it all out.

Joining us at Noon on the 6th will be Julia Fritzlen and Joshua Wright from Insight Investment Advisers they will be explaining

  • What is a 1031 Exchange:  So you know the basics of how one works, including boot.
  • What is a DST:  This  allows you to 1031 what you have into a fraction interest in someone else’s investment
  • Pros & Cons:  What are the pros and cons of a DST
  • Optimizing Your Portfolio

This might be a good jumping off point for consultation with Julia or Joshua to review your portfolio and a great starting point for our upcoming master class on February 22nd that is all about True Passive Wealth.

Click the reserve now to get your zoom link and we will see you at Noon on the 6th.  Bring your lunch.
