Home Depot Rebate’s Arrived This Week
Did you get a check or a gift card in the mail from Home Depot?
We saw this check for $2,585.78 written to Michael Belman and posted on Facebook. His post sparked a frenzy of comments from people who have no idea that they can save a ton of money via the 2% Rebate Program MAREI has with the Home Depot. Click over to Facebook and Check it out, he has been getting a gift card or a check twice a year for 7 years. There were also comments about $3,500 for another MAREI member and $3,200 for another member.
So it’s real, they really do pay out.
How To Get Your Rebate at Home Depot
It’s fairly easy really.
- Join MAREI first at this link or come to the next meeting and join there.
- Watch Your email where we will ship you a guide or log into the discount page at MAREIMember.com for instructions
- Then Go to HomeDepot.com and log into your ProRewards / ProExtra Account – if you don’t have one create one, it’s free
- Once Logged into ProExtra go to your “Account Dashboard”
- Click On Pricing Benefits and add our special code at the bottom where it talks about National Accounts (Save things)
- Click on Cards and Accounts and add every trackable way there is to pay at the Home Depot
- Go Shop, and spend $5000 from January to June, or from July to December, then about 3 months later your rebate will be issued as a gift card if under $1000 or as a check if over $1000.
The above activity should also escalate your Paint Rewards to 20% Off. You can look at the Program Details page to see. If it did not the guide has an email and phone number to follow up.
Problems to Know About
- If you move, be sure to tell Home Depot so they know where to send your rebate.
- Add all your credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, and check accounts to make them trackable.
- If a credit card expires or is compromised, keep it in your account for at least a year. If you delete it, your spending record is lost.
- Be sure to add in any new cards you get as cards expire, or get replaced.
- You can’t have your contractor purchase and reimburse them and get that tracked – YOU HAVE TO SPEND THE MONEY.
Authorize Remote Purchase or Text to Purchase
You can set up authorizations for your workers so they can pay using their Home Depot Ap. They have a great instruction page on how to get this all set up.
This is how you can give your workers access to purchase on your credit card without actually having access to the credit card and to having all of your money spent tracked to your 2% rebate.
Other Rebate and Discount Programs
Yes, this will work on top of the Pro Perks Rewards Home Depot offers. But it will not allow any 11% Menards Match Rebates to be paid, although having a pro account pretty much eliminates that anyway. They do tell us that having a Pro Account that spends a specified amount at Home Depot will qualify for discounts. You should be able to use the Product Scan featured inside the Home Depot Ap to see what the Preferred Pricing will be and so far, the rebate is on top of Preferred Pricing.
