Bills we are Watching
- HB323 – Requires the county recorder to notify each property owner or owner of record when a deed that affects the ownership of the property has been submitted for recording
- HB343 – Prohibits local governments from requiring private property owners to accept Section 8 vouchers
- HB595 – Prohibits local governments from requiring private property owners to accept Section 8 vouchers
- HB938 – Establishes provisions relating to the reporting of positive rental payment information to a consumer reporting agency
- HB823 – Prohibits a landlord from evicting a tenant who is a veteran unless illegal conduct occurs on the premises
- HB253 – Adds provisions relating to a landlord failing to remedy a condition that would materially affect the health and safety of a tenant
- HB590 – Creates provisions requiring realtors and landlords to provide new residents with voter registration packets
- SB507 – Provides that counties and cities shall not enact, maintain, or enforce certain ordinances relating to landlords and tenants
